President and Founder:
Mr. Robert MacIsaac
Robert founded Sweet Sadie's Difference Makers as a nonprofit to honor his sister by carrying on her legacy and motto of giving back to her community.
Rob currently lives in Burlington, MA but is originally from Lynn, Massachusetts, where he grew up with his sister Sarah. Currently, Rob is working in nonprofits and he has a background in non-profit work through his work with the Lynn Knights of Columbus and City Year.
Board of Directors
Mr. Peter MacIsaac
Peter MacIsaac helps lead the organization. His devotion to the organization is born from his devotion to his daughter Sarah who is our inspiration and namesake. Peter brings his 37 years of experience working for GE and can contribute his time and talent now that he is enjoying retirement with his wife, Betty. Peter helped Sarah with her work in the community while she lived and now continues her legacy.
Mr. Jack Suslak
Jack is honored to be on the board of Sweet Sadies in memory of his dear friend Sarah. They met when he was 3 years old going to school in his Lynn, Massachusetts hometown. Jack has been a lifelong advocate for disability rights since he was born with dislocated knees and hips at birth. Jack is a past Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus Valladolid #70 jn Lynn. Also was a Disability add-on to the Massachusetts Democratic State Committee. Jack has moved to Bluffton, SC, near Hilton Head but helps the board in any way he can and tries to come up for the events.

Hi, I'm Kate Lee-McCarthy, and am very happy and proud to support the organizational development of Sweet Sadie's Difference Makers. I come from corporate and non-profit organizations heavily focused on education, holding roles and responsibilities that run the gamut from “accountant” to “global environmental and sustainability director” with FTEs of 12 people up to 40,000. I have a dual undergraduate business degree in Finance and Marketing from Boston University and a master's in Corporate Sustainability Management from Harvard University and am (today) three courses from completing an MBA in Accounting at Fitchburg State University (my first fully online program). I’ve also been certified in several areas, from LEED Green Building Design to Salesforce Administration, and am an occasional teaching fellow at Harvard in the corporate sustainability landscape. Finally, I’m the proud and exhausted mom to three; my twin boys, Ansel and Winslow, and my daughter Ilia. My husband and I live in Swampscott, MA, and have dogs, chickens, and Fiona, a cockatoo who loves to scream when I take Zoom calls.
